Since childhood I have thrived on the fact that if you do your research, put your mind to the task, and do it right the first time, then you will be smarter, more efficient, and get more done.  No half way mark has ever been the finish line, no second guess has ever been the answer.  I have worked under extreme stress, with work piling up, and deadlines around every corner, and still went home knowing the job was finished right! When the customer see’s my work, they know they got more than their money’s worth.

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign…, these are tools available to every designer. Everyone applying for a job can use these tools.  Designers have to use the right tool for the job though; you don’t design a corporate logo in Photoshop at web resolution, you never submit vector art to the printer in RGB with fonts not outlined.  Repairing the mistakes of seasoned designers for years has given me the skills to set-up work files correctly every time for every type of output.  Web, print, laser cutter, no problem, I have been submitting files to these types of vendors for years.  Not only can I send the right file, but I can usually run the equipment myself.  Being able to communicate with not only the customer but the printer as well makes the project run smooth without hitches that could have been easily avoided.
