New site up

Sooo I have the new site is up! Guess if your reading this you have seen it. Anyhow. It's a mod of a cool template I found somewhere and have been nice enough to leave all the copywriteing intact. So go to the bottom and see the links if you like it. I've been playing with the css and planing on revamping it start to finish someday. As of now i replaced the graphics, editied some css to change the colors slighly to match my color scheme and looked into what i need to change the next time i sit down to it.  It took me like six months to post this update so the css editing might take another six to get to. But then again i'd rather be spending my time making a customers website bad ass than mine is the way i see it.  Customer sites are also hand coded from scratch and mines a CMS so you have to dig around and rework someone elses stuff to make it look right instead of just starting from the ground up and doing it yourself.  Anyhow back to work, go to the contack me section and drop me a line if you have any comments...

I went legit

Ok I just left the Board of Equalization and I now have the last piece of paper that says I’m a self employed mofo and can now play the part of the tax man!

New Login section!

So I decided to try a login section ( idea is in the beta phase...) so I can keep track of who has seen there proof and who hasn't.  That way if i havn't heard form you in a while i know it's just because you havn't had the time to see your proof yet.

This page is the NEW home to AKillustrations and is currently and will ALWAYS be under construction. Like google keeping everything in the beta phase this page will ALWAYS be a work in progress.

A little about us first. We are a full on design group (by group I mean me the designer and the full support of my beautiful fiancé) that specializes in making you look good.

When you get a business card from someone and it was designed poorly with 18 phone and fax numbers you can’t read, six slogans, a clip art logo, and the whole thing was printed on a desk jet with the little toilet paper perforations showing, that’s not us. That’s the person trying to do it themselves. Although they are great at what they do there marketing material clearly needs redesign.

AKillustrations will create a custom logo that will work in small one color applications and large full color ones as well. We will find color, images, and even snacks that will appeal to your target audience and help you get the customers you want and need to make your business grow.

We will also take those elements and create stunning brochures, postcards, and web elements that will work and help take you off of desktop publisher late at night and in your home drinking your beverage of choice.

Along with designing marketing material we also do patent work if you happen to be an inventor, we produce highly detailed technical illustrations and can even fabricate models. I spent many years working with everything from plastics and foam to wood and metal.

Since this site is something I only get to work on in between jobs here and there I will update it as much as possible.
